You never know who could give you the bit of information you need to convince a party member to vote in your favor during the Scales of Conviction. This means that conversations you’ve had with townsfolk, soldiers, merchants, etc., are all important. Having good arguments to convince your party depends on how much knowledge you’ve acquired in the game. The Scales of Conviction is defined by this voting process, and you must try hard to convince others to choose the decision of your liking. Nonetheless, the decision is not entirely in your hands, the rest of your party gets to vote. This may strain your relationship with this nation thus, you must consider your actions carefully. It is implied that the nation you don’t visit will be offended by your decision. For example, in the demo you will decide if you visit Hyzante or Aesfrost. But before you know it, you will be hooked with the story, especially due to a feature known as The Scales of Conviction.Īt pivotal moments in the game, you must make decisions that will alter the progression of the story. There’s a lot of story dialogue in these first three chapters, so it will feel like a slow burn. The control over resources incites political drama, and the characters you use in the game are immersed in it. Aesfrost controls the production of Iron, and Glenbrook controls the rivers in which trades are made. One nation, Hyzante, controls the production of salt. The story of Triangle Strategy focuses on three nations that were at war in the past. The demo allowed you to play three battles to get the gist of combat mechanics. Last year, a short demo was released of Triangle Strategy (formerly known as Project Triangle Strategy), a tactical RPG developed by Square Enix.
